Turkish-born Meriç Canatan is an artist, illustrator, and designer, working predominantly in fashion. Her signature collage style comprises of fashion editorials superimposed against natural forms and embellished with cutouts and precise layering, leading to what is now her own renown style.
After initially studying Fine Arts at Ankara Anatolian High School in her homeland. A six-year degree in Textile and Fashion Design followed, giving her a taste of what was to come, and fueling her desire to find a context to apply her adept talent. After finishing her degree, she moved to London, and had a wide range of experience in various fields, such as fashion, art, beauty, media, and publishing.
Canatan has taken her diverse skillset to work for a range of clients from sports to beauty brands. Notable ones include Condé Nast UK, Net-A-Porter, Nike, Refinery UK and Bobbi Brown.
